Harford Area Day Camp: Beyond Chopsticks and Dragons
Join us at camp and learn about the different countries in Asia. This is a traditional outdoor Girl Scout day camp that includes games, songs, crafts, outdoor cooking, and activities related to our theme, Beyond Chopsticks and Dragons, such as origami, making lanterns, and learning about the cultures of the Far East. Girls are placed in units of 18-24 by troop, grade level and/or buddies of the same age.
Who: Girl Scouts in grades 1-7
Where: Camp Conowingo, Chimney Trail
When: June 17-21, 2013, 9 am – 4 pm (Monday-Friday)

Harford Area Day Camp is run entirely by volunteers! Please consider volunteering for the week or a minimum of three days. Training is mandatory and begins in February. We need both adults and Program Aides (entering grades 8-12 in fall of 2013). Camp fee covers t-shirt, patch, bus transportation and all programs and activities. Financial aid is available through Girl Scouts of Central Maryland’s grant program.
