Girl Scout Silver Award Workshops – FULL

THIS EVENT IS FULL

The Girl Scout Silver Award is the highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn. Come and learn the requirements for a successful Silver Award project. Silver Award workshops are strongly suggested, but not required, for girls. Both girls and adults attending this workshop need to register for the event.

Camp-Out

Come and enjoy a weekend of camping. Cook on a fire, take a hike and enjoy other activities. Meals for Saturday and Sunday breakfast and Fun Patch are included. Register by September 10, 2014 in order to receive the patch.

This event is for all Girl Scout levels.

Check-in for Girl Scout Brownies-Ambassadors is September 19 by 6 pm; check-in for Girl Scout Daisies is September 20 by 9 am; check-out for everyone is September 21 by 11 am

Fun at the Farm

Start your Girl Scout year out at this family-run farm, where you can meet and pet the farm animals, visit the refurbished Enchanted Forest sculptures and playground, take a hayride, and even have a picnic supper—all included for the entire family with a patch for Girl Scout participants. Come for all of the time, or just part of the time; hayrides will depart each half hour until 8 pm. Register by September 10, 2014 in order to receive the patch.

This event is for all Girl Scout levels, friends and families.

Free for ages 1 and under – optional gem mining available at event for extra charge

Back to School Book Swap – CANCELLED

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED

Trade in your summer reading for a new shelf of books to read! The Maryland Book Bank will provide a variety of gently used books for you to choose from. Every book that you bring as a donation will earn you a ticket, which will earn you a new book. A great opportunity for girls and adults to get a new reading list and donate old books, plus make fun book-themed crafts. All books that remain at the end of the event will be donated to the Book Bank. Feel free to stay the entire time or come and go as you please!

Ready, Aim, Bull’s-Eye – Afternoon Session

Come to camp and learn about archery! This two-hour program activity will concentrate on safety, shooting techniques and target practice. Volunteer instructors will lead each session. It doesn’t matter whether you hit the target or not—you will have a blast!
