The “STEM is Fun” series is a program that has been very successful with our in-school participants and is now being made available for our Daisy and Brownie troops as well. The program offers hands-on programs to inspire girls in science and engineering. Throughout the eight pre-designed sessions, girls will learn about the unique world of butterflies, the protection of our planet, beginning financial skills, and even how to become a young engineer, all while learning about STEM role models and incorporating the Girl Scout Leadership experience.
This training is for adult volunteers and troop leaders for Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies

This is a training session for leaders and volunteers that are interested in working on STEM or, specifically, our Girls Go Techbridge program. Leaders and volunteers will learn about the basic principles involved in presenting the Techbridge materials such as TECH Brainstorming, the Engineering Process, and how to guide girls into making their own discoveries. Leaders will also get a chance to look through and explore the materials that will be in each of the five different program bins. Volunteers will also be trained in the basics of STEM and how to guide girls through activities by participating in various projects themselves.
This training is for adult volunteers and troop leaders for Girl Scout Juniors through Ambassadors
Additional Dates: November 20, 2014; March 25, 2015
