Winter Adventures Just for the Day

Can’t make the whole weekend for Winter Adventures? Try just heading out for the day! Experience the fun of summer camp during the winter as we hike, use the challenge course, go geocaching and enjoy other great winter activities. Tell your Summer Camp friends to come out and join you this winter at the “coolest” camp ever. Fee includes fun patch and snack. Day participants, please bring a bag lunch.

Brownie Journey: It’s Your Story—Tell It

Go on a Brownie Journey led by Girl Scout adult volunteers and girls who have been all around the world! This is a full day event and includes time for a “nosebag” picnic lunch brought from home, and outdoor games. Drinks, craft items and snacks will be provided*. Girls who attend the entire event will complete their entire Journey award at the event. Also, for this Journey program we can register a limited number of Cadettes wanting to earn their LIA award.

This event is for Girl Scout Brownies with Safety Checkpoints adults**

(*requires pre event orientation and planning session). Fee Includes snacks drink and all activity materials (**Does not include Journey Book which may be purchased before or at the event, girls may share books)

Girl Scout Gold Award Workshop

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a Girl Scout can earn. Learn all about what it takes to plan a successful Gold Award project. Questions about the award and its requirements will be answered here. This workshop is strongly suggested, but not required, for girls. Both girls and adults attending this workshop need to register for the event.

Percy Jackson Land Navigation Adventure – Daisies

Come join us at Camp Half Blood on a Percy Jackson scavenger hunt adventure, learn about Greek mythology, and save the world from another war between the Olympian Gods. The younger girls will discover the labyrinth and the older girls will take a quest to the underworld. Cost includes a mythical patch if registered by December 20, 2014. Add an extra $10 per group for late registrations for a rush ordering of the patches if you sign up late and you’d still like us to order the patches for you.

Bowling Lock-In

Stay up all night and party the night away while bowling in your PJ’s, dancing to great music and participating in fun activities,contests and games. Bring your non-Girl Scout female friends too and show them how to Rock and Bowl the Girl Scout way! Cost includes rock and bowling, shoes, hot dog, snacks, a refillable commemorative water bottle, prize fund and patch for girls. Adults can also bowl for a lesser fee; non-bowling chaperones are free. This is a Sunday to Monday event because schools are closed on Monday! (There is the option to leave early—around 12:30 am—for those who don’t want to stay the night but cost remains the same).

Moviethon

Calling all movie lovers! Join us for a cinematic good time of epic proportions: the Annual Moviethon. Stay up all night watching the latest first run movies and a little dancing. Fun patch included. Non-Girl Scout female friends ages 9 to 17 are welcome. Don’t miss it! All groups must provide enough adults to meet safety-wise requirements. This is not a drop off event.

Snow Tubing at Ski Roundtop

Do you love the snow? Racing down a good hill with the wind in your face? Join other Girl Scouts from GSCM with a fun-filled day on the hill! Once at Ski Roundtop, be ready to grab an inner tube and hit the hill. When you need a rest, have s’mores around the campfire with a slope side sing-a-long or head inside to get cozy around the fireplace. S’mores, fun patch and snow tubing ticket included. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from Ski Roundtop. This is not a drop off event.

This event is for all Girl Scout levels, their friends and family members 5 years of age and older

Ace of Cupcakes – Daisies & Brownies

Do you crave competition? Are you a cupcake connoisseur or a decorating diva? Celebrate the cupcake craze with our own Girl Scout Cupcake Wars! Join us for cupcake making & taking as well as cupcake demonstrating & decorating. We’ll have on-the-spot contests & competitions for cupcakes prepared at home, too! Contest details to be provided later. This is neither a drop-off nor tagalong event. Each person should bring six cupcakes to decorate. Patch included.
