Volunteer Resource Center (VRC)
The Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) is located at the GSCM Urban Program & STEM Center at 4806 Seton Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21215 and is open Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

At the VRC you can find tools, supplies, tips and ideas to help you with your troop adventures. For example:
The VRC Library
Find books on Girl Scouting, history and other great topics! We now have a set of all three journey books in Braille! Books must be checked out in the VRC; first come, first serve basis.
Traveling trunks contain Girls Scout uniforms from all eras for girls to look at, try on, etc… they make a great activity for bridging events and much more. They must be checked out in the VRC; first come, first serve basis.
Cookie Banners and Costumes
Jazz up your booth sales, your girls will love being a thin mint, tagalong or trefoil cookie while selling them. Available on a first come, first serve basis, must be returned after each event. Contact the VRC to reserve and schedule pick up/return.
Flags are a great addition to your ceremonies and events; the Maryland state flag, Girl Scouts flag, and the United States flag are available for your use. Contact VRC to reserve and schedule pick up/ return.
The VRC now has its own computer available for any volunteers to register online, take GS online courses and explore our GSCM website while visiting the Council office.

If your troop would like to earn new patches to fill their vests and sashes, check out the patch packets. They are a great way for your troop to experience and learn even more; forms are available in the VRC and on the resources page.

Event & Activity Resources
We offer great tools for you to use with your troops and groups. We print as needed, so if you need more then 30 copies please allow 2 days notice and we will have them ready for you, or access them online.
State Park Passes
Youth Group Passes for State Parks are a great way to introduce your girls to the great outdoors, and save you money.
